Jonathan Frakes, Corey Feldman, Judith Hoag, and more iconic guests set to appear May 29–31
Philadelphia’s about to get a serious dose of nostalgia, fandom, and straight-up pop culture magic. FAN EXPO Philadelphia just dropped the first major wave of celebrity guests heading to the Pennsylvania Convention Center this May, and if you love Star Trek, The Goonies, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this one’s for you.
Already announced were the legendary “Four Hobbits” from The Lord of the Rings — Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, and Billy Boyd. Now, they’re being joined by 12 more guests from some of the most beloved franchises in entertainment history.
Star Trek Royalty Beams In
Get ready, Trekkies. Jonathan Frakes, aka Commander Riker himself, is heading to Philly. He’ll be joined by Gates McFadden (Doctor Beverly Crusher) and Brent Spiner (Data), all iconic figures from The Next Generation, Picard, and beyond. Whether you’re into androids, starships, or great podcasts (shoutout to Gates’ InvestiGates), this is a dream lineup.
Goonies Never Say Die
Break out the treasure maps because the Goonies are rolling deep. Corey Feldman, Kerri Green, Martha Plimpton, and the always-beloved Sean Astin are reuniting to give fans of the 1985 classic a true blast from the past.
Turtle Power Unleashed
It’s not a FAN EXPO without some Turtle Power. Six stars from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films will be on site, including Judith Hoag (April O’Neil), Ernie Reyes Jr., and the voices behind Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, and even Shredder. Yes, that’s François Chau from Lost.
Tickets and More to Come
Tickets are available now at fanexpophiladelphia.com, including single-day, weekend, family, and VIP passes. Advanced pricing runs until May 14, and even more announcements are coming soon — from comic creators to cosplay stars and everything in between.
FAN EXPO Philadelphia runs May 29–31 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Whether you’re heading there for a Starfleet reunion, a trip down Goonies memory lane, or to shout “Cowabunga” with your childhood heroes, this year’s lineup is shaping up to be one of the most unforgettable yet.

First and foremost, Kev is a dad to three wonderful children. He’s also an uber Kevin Smith fan (all Smith’s movies are worth a watch, even Yoga Hosers) who has cried during Kermit’s monologue in The Muppets and once owned two VHS copies of Spice World. He loves all pop culture, particularly the MCU and Star Wars. The Evil Dead franchise is his favorite horror franchise, though the original Scream is his favorite scary movie. He bleeds Eagle’s green in the (suburbs of the) greatest city on Earth, Philadelphia. Go Birds!
