Obi-Wan Kenobi returns to Disney+ with its fourth episode! How long is the fourth installment of the Star Wars limited series?
Obi-Wan Kenobi is here! The long-awaited Star Wars series debuted on Disney+ two weeks ago with the first two episodes and followed it up with one of the best pieces of Star Wars media we’ve ever seen.
The prequel-era version of a Star Wars legacy character takes center stage in his own story in this series. Despite the fact that Obi-Wan Kenobi plays a significant role in both the original trilogy and the prequel trilogy eras of The Skywalker Saga, the plot was never truly about him. While we got to know Obi-Wan over the course of numerous films, Obi-Wan Kenobi delves deeper into the character’s psyche a decade after Order 66 was carried out, thus putting the Jedi Order out of business.
As last week showed, this story isn’t just about Kenobi’s time on Tatooine—sure, we did get to see how Ben Kenobi lived his life on the sand planet for the last 10 years, but we quickly go on an adventure with the former Jedi Master. Further, last week’s episode gave us a showdown we’ve been wanting for quite some time now; giving us the most terrifying version of a character we’ve ever seen in the franchise.
If you’re eager to watch the next episode of Obi-Wan Kenobi, but need to see when you can fit it into your schedule this week, you’ll need to know how long it is.
How long is Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 4?
Obi-Wan Kenobi’s third episode clocks in at 38 minutes, which is shorter than I anticipated. With only two episodes left, I’d be shocked if episodes were any shorter than 45 minutes—outside of Kenobi’s story, we have a few other characters who all have plotlines that need to be mostly resolved by the end of the show. We’ll see what future episodes hold for their runtimes!
Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 4 premiers on Disney+ on Wednesday, June 8th, at 12:00 AM PT and 3:00 AM ET.

First and foremost, Kev is a dad to three wonderful children. He’s also an uber Kevin Smith fan (all Smith’s movies are worth a watch, even Yoga Hosers) who has cried during Kermit’s monologue in The Muppets and once owned two VHS copies of Spice World. He loves all pop culture, particularly the MCU and Star Wars. The Evil Dead franchise is his favorite horror franchise, though the original Scream is his favorite scary movie. He bleeds Eagle’s green in the (suburbs of the) greatest city on Earth, Philadelphia. Go Birds!
