I know we’re only in February, but this is the time of year I tend to start thinking about summer plans. And while my family tends to spend the summer either going camping or to the ocean (sometimes both if we can swing it), we do talk about when we’re going to make our big theme park trip too. Now, we don’t go to Disney World every year—the last time we went was in 2019 and we’re still not quite sure when we’ll be returning. But, Disney (we’ve visited World more than Land, but I do like both of them an awful lot) is one of my all-time favorite places to go. It doesn’t hurt that I’m just a big kid at heart, so I’m excited to share today’s promo.
The title of this book is very appropriate because of the nature of the many guests encountered over the years working there. Every wide-eyed visitor was as important as the great group of employees that shared the experiences of day-to-day tutorials. Over time, the park became a special gathering of representatives from various parts of the world and provided an education comparable to what was achieved scholastically. The memories were such that these many years later, they are as vibrant as ever–and I just had to share.
The United Nations of My Favorite Theme Park
TR Thomas spent his college days working at the happiest place on Earth, Disneyland! His seven years there filled his life with many adventures and people from around the world. While it’s been years since TR worked there, those memories are just as fresh as they were during his days working at the theme park. His new autobiography, The United Nations of My Favorite Theme Park, details his time at Disneyland and offers readers a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to work for one of the most incredible theme parks around.
Be sure to pick up The United Nations of My Favorite Theme Park at Amazon or your favorite bookstore.

First and foremost, Kev is a dad to three wonderful children. He’s also an uber Kevin Smith fan (all Smith’s movies are worth a watch, even Yoga Hosers) who has cried during Kermit’s monologue in The Muppets and once owned two VHS copies of Spice World. He loves all pop culture, particularly the MCU and Star Wars. The Evil Dead franchise is his favorite horror franchise, though the original Scream is his favorite scary movie. He bleeds Eagle’s green in the (suburbs of the) greatest city on Earth, Philadelphia. Go Birds!
