Obi-Wan Kenobi is here! The series debuted with two episodes, so how long is the series’ second episode?
Obi-Wan Kenobi is without a doubt the most eagerly awaited Star Wars series to date. While it will most likely center on the prequel side of Kenobi’s life, it will also serve as the lead-up to the events in his original trilogy appearance. It’s something Star Wars fans from both eras, if not all three, have been clamoring for a long time.
Both the first and second episodes premiered at the same time, giving fans the opportunity to binge the first big chunk of the exiled Jedi Master’s story. Following out titular hero, Obi-Wan Kenobi shows us what his not so quiet life was like during his time on Tatooine, quietly looking over Luke Skywalker. What was Old Ben up to all those years? We’re about to find out!
How long is Obi-Wan Kenobi Season 1 Episode 2?
Obi-Wan Kenobi’s second episode clocks in at 41 minutes, which is considerably shorter than the first; though more in line with the other live-action Star Wars series. Being billed as a limited series of only 6 episodes, I’m a bit surprised that this second episode was so much shorter than the first. Outside of Kenobi’s story, we have a few other characters who all have plotlines that need to be mostly resolved by the end of the show. We’ll see what future episodes hold for their runtimes!
Debuting two episodes on Disney+ Friday, May 27th, at 12:00 AM PT and 3:00 AM ET, Obi-Wan Kenobi will be here before we know it!

First and foremost, Kev is a dad to three wonderful children. He’s also an uber Kevin Smith fan (all Smith’s movies are worth a watch, even Yoga Hosers) who has cried during Kermit’s monologue in The Muppets and once owned two VHS copies of Spice World. He loves all pop culture, particularly the MCU and Star Wars. The Evil Dead franchise is his favorite horror franchise, though the original Scream is his favorite scary movie. He bleeds Eagle’s green in the (suburbs of the) greatest city on Earth, Philadelphia. Go Birds!
