What If…? will conclude with its major season finale, but how long do we have to wait to see the ninth episode?
One of the numerous highlights on the Disney Plus calendar in 2021 has been Marvel’s What If…? The streaming service has kept Marvel fans occupied throughout this past unprecedented year, not just compensating for the MCU’s (understandable) lack of films in 2020, but also ushering in a new era of streaming programming for the franchise.
What If…? is the first-ever Marvel Studios-produced animated series, and it reimagines the MCU as fans know it, showing us how things might have turned out differently if one or two variables had been different, and the impact those alterations could have on not just one world, but the multiverse itself.
We’ve seen Peggy Carter become Captain Carter, T’Challa become Star-Lord, Hank Pym turn on Nick Fury and the Avengers, Doctor Strange lose everything, zombies outnumber The Avengers, Killmonger “rescue” Tony Stark, Thor appear on Earth as the Party King, and Ultron fuse with Vision over the last few weeks. What If…? is rapidly approaching the end of its first season.
Viewers are looking forward to seeing how the epic Disney Plus show concludes in the season finale. When can people expect the ninth episode to be released?

When can we see how the first season ends with What If…? Episode 9?
On Wednesday, October 6 at 12:01 a.m. PT and 3:01 a.m. ET, What If…? episode 9 will premiere on Disney+. It will be available on the streaming site, along with the first eight episodes, and will conclude the first season. A second season of the show has been confirmed, though no set release date has been announced.
What If…? episode 9 is slated to contain a multiversal event that would bring together some of the multiverse’s most well-known characters, including Captain Carter, Star-Lord (T’Challa), Thor, and Doctor Strange Supreme.

First and foremost, Kev is a dad to three wonderful children. He’s also an uber Kevin Smith fan (all Smith’s movies are worth a watch, even Yoga Hosers) who has cried during Kermit’s monologue in The Muppets and once owned two VHS copies of Spice World. He loves all pop culture, particularly the MCU and Star Wars. The Evil Dead franchise is his favorite horror franchise, though the original Scream is his favorite scary movie. He bleeds Eagle’s green in the (suburbs of the) greatest city on Earth, Philadelphia. Go Birds!
