Hello fans of fantasy, and welcome back to a wonderful stop in the Otherworld. One month ago, we had the great opportunity to bring you across worlds to one of the more famous fantasy settings in Nirn and Tamriel. Fans of the Elder Scrolls games will be very happy to know that there are wonderful books set in that world, and we’re going to be revisiting one of them today. Read on to learn more about Zaneta’s Chronicles.
Adrian Lee Zuniga’s second book in his spectacular series drips with raw emotion, and carries momentum with it as it brings the adventure forth. In The Elder Scrolls – Zaneta’s Chronicles: Edge of Oblivion, Zuniga continues to set readers on a course with Žaneta, an extraordinarily unique Khajiit that readers want to root for every step of the way. With every passing page, Zuniga shows his talent, expressing one creative revelation after another. The beautiful, exquisitely crafted story is accompanied by gorgeous artwork as well, transporting readers into a realm with the same immersion as the games do.
Žaneta, an extraordinarily unique Khajiit residing on the island of Vvardenfell, finds an important aspect of her life turned upside down when her family is viciously assaulted. After Žaneta’s ship docks in Narsis on Morrowind’s mainland, she searches for any signs that would take her to her children, while uncovering the identity of the person responsible for their kidnapping. Crossing through mountains and Imperial territory, she’s reminded of her emotional history while revisiting old, familiar cities. That is, until she’s dragged to the doorstep of hell and back. As her journey continues, she gains momentum and allies in her mission to find her family, while her understanding of time and space is completely changed in the process.
The Edge of Oblivion continues the previous book’s trend of infusing a cinematic style to Adrian’s writings, captivating readers as it thrusts them into a realm of enchantment while stressing aspects like geography, food, and wildlife that make the continent of Morrowind appealing and intriguing. And without breaking stride, the dramatic second installment continues into Part Three: The Lost Mane for a spectacular climax. While Zuniga works on attempting to license his story through Zenimax, there’s never a better time to pick up these books. Be sure to pick up all three of Zuniga’s wonderful Elder Scrolls books, including this one. Check out The Elder Scrolls – Zaneta’s Chronicles: Edge of Oblivion on Amazon today!
