No Time To Die, the latest James Bond film and Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007, will be here next week.

No Time To Die is nearly upon us. After several delays and a promise of a theatrical only release, Daniel Craig returns to play James Bond one final time. The official synopsis from The Official James Bond 007 Website:

In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and starring Daniel Craig, Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, Ana de Armas, Billy Magnussen, Rory Kinnear, David Dencik, and Dali Benssalah. No Time To Die will open next Friday, October 8th, 2021.

In 2016, work on the project began. It is the first Bond picture to be distributed by Universal Pictures, who took over the international distribution rights after Sony Pictures’ contract expired. United Artists Releasing, a subsidiary of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, has the North American rights, as well as worldwide digital and television rights. Universal also owns the worldwide rights to physical home media. Originally, Danny Boyle was set to direct and co-write the screenplay with John Hodge. Both left in August 2018 owing to creative differences, and Fukunaga was named Boyle’s replacement a month later. By April of 2019, the majority of the cast had committed. Under the working title of Bond 25, principal photography took place from April to October 2019; the final title announcement in August of that year.
